(Mon, 07 Dec 2015) EIA recently released spent nuclear fuel data collected on the Form GC-859, Nuclear Fuel Data Survey. The survey collects data from all utilities operating commercial, light-water nuclear reactors in the United States and from all others possessing irradiated fuel from commercial U.S. nuclear reactors. Data are collected on all discharged nuclear fuel assemblies, projected assembly discharges, nuclear fuel storage capacities and inventories, reactor operating history, other fuel and nonfuel radioactive waste, and low-level waste resulting from decommissioning operations.
